Noble Care provides a calming environment for seniors to relax, socialize, and reminisce. Though every day is a little different, below is a typical schedule at Noble Care, LLC.
| 8:30 – 10:00 | Clients arrive at the center and socialize among themselves. They can also enjoy coloring materials, crafts, puzzles, and games such as word games and bingo. Breakfast is served as clients enter the center and consists of foods such muffins, toast, bagels, etc. |
| 10:00 – 10:30 | Clients move into a circular formation and participate in simple chair exercises such as stretching and moving their arms and legs. |
| 10:30 – 10:45 | While still in a circular set-up, our staff members set up a physical/social activity. For example, tossing a ball to each other while the possessor of the ball answers questions such as “what was your profession” or “do you have any pets at home”. |
| 10:45 – 11:15 | Clients move to the travel room where they participate in a game known as Think Our CNAs pose challenges such as ‘as a group, can we think of 5 ice cream flavors’. This game encourages teamwork and mental stimulation as everyone brainstorms ideas to fulfill the challenge. |
| 11:15-12:00 | While still in the travel room, Clients participate as a group in a word game, Boggle, that is written on a large white board. After the activity, the number of words the group found are counted. It’s the group’s goal to beat the previous day’s score. |
| 12:00 – 1:00 | Lunch is served. Staff will heat clients’ lunches and will offer beverages and additional snack items. |
| 1:00 – 1:25 | The group participates in more chair exercises. This is meant to encourage clients to move, as opposed to being sedentary after their meal. After some light stretching, the CNAs ask clients to list something they are grateful for. |
| 1:25 – 2:30 | Clients are given the choice of participating in either Card Crew or a craft. Card Crew typically plays games such as set back and poker. The craft takes place in the beach room. |
| 2:30 – 3:15 | Clients again sit at the original tables in the main room and eat the afternoon snack which may consist of raisins, cheese sticks, yogurt, popsicles, or graham crackers. After their snack, clients play bingo. |
| 3:15 – 4:30 | To end the day, clients play hangman on the white board. |
